My name is Julia and I am a recent college graduate working at an accounting firm.  I started this blog as a way for me to share my experiences and lessons learned regarding career development.

Please know that I am not a professional expert in the area of career development.  I simply have a large interest in this field, and I am just looking to share some perspective.  I’ve always enjoyed giving career advice to my friends so I figure this is a great way for me share it with the rest of the world.

The name of the blog comes from one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned – that your job is not your career unless you make it that way.  A job is temporary but a career is continuous.  The things I share in the blog are all related to my efforts to create a career from my jobs.  I hope this would help you build your own career path!
